Three shots of Sam the bald eagle from Banham Zoo in Norfolk.

I was fortunate enough to be able to get up nice and close for these shots, which are just three of many taken.

All of these have recieved some good comments on flickr, the top right pic has been modified using the fractalius filter in photoshop which I think always works particularly well on birds.

Something New - This was created using Chaoscope, in fact was the first time I had used it and I didn’t really know what I was doing. This really was a case of beginners luck I think as I’ve used it since but have never ended up with anything I liked as much.

The colours were enhanced using some photoshop gradients

The Mill,  Something just wasn’t quite right with the original photo, so I decided to experiment heavily with photoshop, this is the result which is at least more interesting than the original.

Well here I am signed up to tumblr and following only 1 person so far.

If I am to be perfectly honest I have absolutely no idea what I am doing at the moment. Tumblr is a new world that I don’t yet understand.

If things work out, I will be posting some of my photographs and digital artwork here and other bits and pieces and sharing the odd thought (and believe me some off my thoughts are quite odd!).
